Rave
After learning about the history of the hot air balloon, I remembered when I went to a rave in SoCal and the main performers arrived to the venue in a hot air balloon. I was so amazed because I've never heard of an artist arriving to their concert in a hot air balloon. After thinking about it, hot air balloons are not really heard of anymore today. They were a vital form of air war fare and travel back then and today we just use it for leisure. It made me realize how advanced our technology and different form of transportations have evolved.

I find your article interesting because it makes me think about the uses of a hot air balloon in today's society. There are obviously better modes of transportation (airplane, helicopter, train, etc) but using a hot air balloon to make a public entrance to me sounds like a hipster idea. I believe that it's an original, interesting way of making an entrance. Many people try to be unique these days through what music they listen to and the way they dress. Expressing your individuality and making a grand entrance by arriving in a hot air balloon is definitely a creative idea. I wish people in the spotlight were more creative so we could see stories like this on the news opposed to the Kardashians.
