Evolution of Images

The evolution of photography and the transition from hot air balloons to aviation have had an enormous impact on how we are able to see things and allow viewers to see a new perspective. The hot air balloon was revolutionary towards the development of aerial views, which are now used for everything from military purposes to urban planning to mapping. It provided people with a view from above, and this has only continuously developed over time. Now, through the use of satellites and drones we are able to see incredible pictures of the world. The technology of these images has allowed the cameras to exhibit great detail and give entirely new outlooks.

  1. I also wrote on the evolution of balloons and I wanted to add that it really amazes me that the technology has moved from such a basic thing like a balloon to using high tech drones to create aerial views.

  2. I found this interesting and also thought that even though the U.S. has changed a lot since hot air balloons were invented I feel like the sense of perspective would be very similar from what people had in that time. Just because of the distance from the ground and an aerial view.

  3. Aerial technology is such an innovative technology at that time, and this is also one of the reasons making American culture great. As with different sublimes in America, aerial technology helps show the greatness of America and express the American pride and exceptionalism
