Social Norms and Movie

It was really interesting learning about how popular aerial shows were during the time of Amelia Earhart. I didn't realize how much social empowerment came with flight, with so many people of lesser social statuses pursuing the sky, it must have had a huge influence on younger people of color and/or women. Learning about this era reminded me of "Night at the Smithsonian", where old pilots were brought back to life and shared their love for the sky. I never realized the significance of those "perceived comedic" characters in a goofy family movie.
